As a Quality Technician, you will provide quality assurance support aligned to increase internal and outgoing quality levels, supporting overall customer satisfaction of our products.
WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:
Determines and uses appropriate measuring tools and equipment to verify dimensional and functional requirements.
Participates in problem solving activities for both shipping and receiving processes.
Performs containment activities preventing potential or additional quality defects
Assists manufacturing with product reviews and analysis
Investigate customer complaints and determine validity of claim
Effectively communicates with appropriate areas as needed (supply, manufacturing, engineering, quality, customer service, production planning, logistics, etc.).
Provides process audit support in designated areas.
Observes all applicable safety rules and reporting any unsafe conditions or potential safety hazards.
Assist for managing labels, including creating and revising labels for accuracy.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
YOU HAVE:
High School Diploma or GED
Knowledge of shipping and receiving processes
Experience with quality processes, Quality Management Systems, Sentinel, M3 preferred
Ability to use common and some precision measuring equipment (e.g., Calipers, micrometer, measuring tape, etc.).
Prior experience working in logistics preferred
Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
Ability to read blueprints.
PIT certification
PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS
Variable Conditions : You may experience temperature changes, noise levels exceeding 85 decibels, and exposure to dust, grease, and other industrial materials. PPE and safety measures are required.
Safety Hazards : You may be exposed to mechanical parts, sharp objects, and heavy machinery. Completion of safety training and strict adherence to all safety precautions are mandatory.
Physical Strain : Tasks may involve repetitive motions, standing for long periods, and handling various weights.
Vision and Auditory : Requires good vision and hearing to respond to machinery sounds, alarms, and instructions.
Physical Activity : Requires standing up to 8 hours, lifting 35 pounds, and occasionally pushing/pulling 75 pounds or more.
