Job Summary
Join our Manufacturing team as a Machine B Operator , where you will play a key role in operating filling and packaging equipment to ensure safe, accurate, and high-quality production. This hands-on role supports daily operations through machine setup, changeovers, quality checks, and troubleshooting while maintaining ITW’s safety and quality standards.
Job Duties
Operate and/or manually tend machines performing packaging functions such as filling, labeling, packing, blistering, and closing containers
Perform minor adjustments, set-ups, changeovers, cleaning, and general operation of filling and packaging machines
Validate and organize jobs according to bill of materials and special work instructions
Conduct quality inspections at required intervals to ensure product meets specifications
Troubleshoot equipment issues and assist with production equipment including balers, carton erectors, pallet jacks, taper/tape guns, and related equipment
Assist in training full-time and temporary operators as assigned
Operate forklift (low-lift and sit-down) as required
Promote and follow all Environmental, Health, Safety, and Quality guidelines and procedures
Perform additional duties as needed to support production operations
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED preferred
1–3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment (automotive, bottling, or packaging preferred)
Computer literacy required
Certified to operate low-lift and sit-down forklift
Ability to follow oral and written instructions accurately
Compensation Information:
Pay rate is $19 - $22 an hour depending on experience.
