Job Title: In-Process Quality & Receiving Inspector

Your Impact

As an Electronic In-Process Quality & Receiving Inspector, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring the reliability and safety of electronic components and assemblies used in aircraft, satellites, and defense systems. You’ll be at the forefront of quality assurance, helping to deliver mission-critical products that protect lives and enable groundbreaking aerospace achievements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect electronic assemblies, harnesses, PCBs, and avionics systems throughout production cycles.

  • Ensure compliance with aerospace standards (AS9100, IPC-A-610, IPC/WHMA-A-620) and customer specifications.

  • Perform visual and mechanical inspections using precision tools (microscopes, multimeters, calipers).

  • Document inspection results, flag non-conformances, and support corrective action processes.

  • Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to resolve issues and drive process improvements.

  • Verify traceability and documentation of materials and components per regulatory requirements.

  • Support First Article Inspections (FAI) and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP).

  • Maintain ESD-safe practices, Safe Move Handling, and FOD protocols.

What You Bring

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in electronics or aerospace quality preferred.

  • 2+ years of experience in aerospace electronics manufacturing or quality inspection.

  • Strong understanding of aerospace quality standards and regulatory compliance.

  • Proficiency in reading engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications.

  • Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving, and communication skills.

  • Willingness and ability to travel to Hollister, CA up to 75% during the first 90 days. You will need to be onsite in Hollister the first month (Mon-Fri) for training.

Preferred Skills:

  • Certification in IPC-A-610, IPC/WHMA-A-620, or J-STD-001.

  • Familiarity with AS9100 and NADCAP requirements.

  • Experience with aerospace OEMs or Tier 1 suppliers.

  • Knowledge of root cause analysis and lean manufacturing principles.

Bonus or Equity

This position is also eligible for bonus as part of the total compensation package.

Pay Range

The salary range for this position (in local currency) is 33,500.00 - 62,100.00

Is this role subject to ITAR?

The essential duties of this position require adherence to U.S. Government export control regulations.
