Job Title: CNC Programmer Job Description
We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer who will be responsible for programming CNC lathes using MasterCAM at the computer and employing conversational programming at the machine. The ideal candidate will also handle setups, offsets, tooling changes, and changeovers, while documenting processes and performing quality inspections using micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
Responsibilities
Program CNC lathes using MasterCAM and conversational programming.
Utilize measuring equipment to measure parts and ensure accuracy.
Complete setups, offsets, tooling changes, and changeovers.
Perform and document process documentation.
Conduct tool changes and setups at the machine.
Inspect machined parts for quality using micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
Assist CNC operators with programming adjustments as needed.
Be adaptable and open to new tasks as the job will vary daily.
Essential Skills
At least 2 years of MasterCAM experience.
Experience in reading and writing CNC programs at the controller.
Ability to read blueprints.
Capability to run CNC machines as needed for production.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in aerospace or job shop environments is a plus.

Work Environment
This position operates on the 1st shift from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM, consisting of a standard 50-hour work week. The role is part of a 6-month contract to hire, with parts primarily manufactured for F-35 plane engines. You will work in a clean environment within an aerospace company known for its ability to hold close tolerances, machine exotic materials, and maintain fine finishes. The dress code is standard for a manufacturing setting.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $31.00 - $35.00/hr.
