ITW Chemical Mixer - 3rd Shift in Solon, Ohio
Job Description:
Job Summary
The 3rd Shift Chemical Mixer is responsible for accurately mixing materials, following batch instructions, completing required documentation, and supporting safe overnight manufacturing operations.
Hours - 11:00pm - 7:00am, Sunday - Thursday
Key Responsibilities
Measure, weigh, and add raw materials by hand or using automated equipment
Mix materials according to batch cards and work instructions
Use computer systems to record production data
Follow Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and all safety procedures
Perform quality checks during the mixing process
Clean and sanitize mixing equipment as scheduled
Monitor product quality and stop production if issues occur
Assist with training new employees and help other production lines as needed
Maintain a clean, safe work area
Perform other assigned duties
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required
3+ years of batch mixing or similar manufacturing experience preferred
Basic computer skills required
Certified to operate lift trucks (low-lift, fork-lift, high-lift) or willing to become certified
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
Compensation Information:
This position pays $24-$28 an hour depending on experience and job history
