ITW Chemical Mixer - 3rd Shift in Solon, Ohio

Job Description:

Job Summary

The 3rd Shift Chemical Mixer is responsible for accurately mixing materials, following batch instructions, completing required documentation, and supporting safe overnight manufacturing operations.

Hours - 11:00pm - 7:00am, Sunday - Thursday

Key Responsibilities

  • Measure, weigh, and add raw materials by hand or using automated equipment

  • Mix materials according to batch cards and work instructions

  • Use computer systems to record production data

  • Follow Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and all safety procedures

  • Perform quality checks during the mixing process

  • Clean and sanitize mixing equipment as scheduled

  • Monitor product quality and stop production if issues occur

  • Assist with training new employees and help other production lines as needed

  • Maintain a clean, safe work area

  • Perform other assigned duties

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required

  • 3+ years of batch mixing or similar manufacturing experience preferred

  • Basic computer skills required

  • Certified to operate lift trucks (low-lift, fork-lift, high-lift) or willing to become certified

  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions

Compensation Information:

This position pays $24-$28 an hour depending on experience and job history
