Our Team, Your Impact
Currently we are looking for а qualified and motivated candidate for the role of experienced Senior Transportation Specialist , part of the Supply Chain Department based in Sofia.
The Senior Transportation Specialist manages and monitors shipment bookings in the transport tracking system, ensuring deliveries are scheduled, executed, and documented correctly. They also communicate delivery timelines and costs to customers, resolve routine logistics issues, and choose the most efficient transport options to ensure timely and cost-effective product delivery.
How You’ll Spend Your Day
Creating transport bookings in the Teva Control Center (TCC) tracking system, coordinating and monitoring their execution on a daily basis
Creating requests for new transport lanes set up on behalf of different Teva trading entities
Proactively informing the customers about the timeline of the deliveries and transport costs
Collecting proofs of delivery from the system within the standard time frame and providing them to the customers
Strictly following the agreed TCC SLI guideline to successfully booking the shipments “right first time”
Solving standard logistics issues with minimum supervision of the direct manager, evaluating all the parameters of the assignment to make sure the efficiency and proper delivery of products
When needed taking part in the logistics initiatives and/or projects assigned to the team and completing the tasks within the deadline
When required analyzing all available transport options, cost versus lead-time and providing the best solution to the customer within acceptable timeframe
Demonstrating the highest level of service and quality
Your Skills and Experience
Bachelor Degree or equivalent– preferably business management discipline
Minimum 2 years’ experience in the department or in a similar position
Advanced knowledge of the specifics in the transportation business
Good oral and written communication skills, paying attention to detail
Possess the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
Willing to learn and progress
Very good knowledge of English language- verbal and written
ERP experience - SAP or other business management system will be considered as advantage
Very good knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook
