Job Description:
Manage and develop the Veterinary & Pro channel (Pet Professional) according to the objectives and the ROYAL CANIN Pet Professional strategy. The role is critical in ensuring we remain a growth brand within the Pet Professional sector.
What are we looking for?
Degree level business qualification
Strong sales background with knowledge of the veterinary industry
Varied knowledge of roles with at least 3 years' experience in a director level role (Sales & Marketing ideally).
Numerate/Analytical.
Must be able to demonstrate a high competency of commercial acumen
What will be your key responsibilities?
· Strategic business planning in line with ROYAL CANIN's growth ambition and OGSM
· Responsible for market share position and profit and loss of the Pet Professional sector. Build collaborative relationships with key stakeholders (buying, clinical board, operations, marketing and training) at customer level and likewise with internal ROYAL CANIN stakeholders that can influence key decisions.
· Line Management Excellence with an engagement score at + 80th percentile. Motivate and manage a diverse team across sales, veterinary & pro technical, marketing, category management, perfect execution and ensure robust personal development plans.
· Embed a 'category first' culture into the business unit, in line with category range plan recommendations and the Perfect Clinic and Pet Professional services programs whilst supporting the Global strategic direction on portfolio deployment, Individualization and "test & learn" support.
· Owner of the Pet Professional DMR element of the S&OP+ process to ensure appropriate sales forecasting and stock availability - to include any business areas of challenge for review and action.
