Maintenance / Diesel Mechanic | Logan,UT

Nexeo HR is hiring a skilled Maintenance / Diesel Mechanic to support ongoing equipment maintenance and repair operations for a manufacturing client. This role focuses on mechanical and electrical troubleshooting,preventative maintenance,and keeping production equipment operating safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate has a strong hands-on background and is comfortable working with a variety of industrial machinery.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical and electrical repairs on production and support equipment
• Troubleshoot electrical systems using schematics and diagrams
• Conduct preventative maintenance (PMs) on all assigned machinery
• Maintain and repair forklifts,diesel trucks,and shop equipment
• Support maintenance of shears,lasers,and other fabrication machinery
• Diagnose equipment issues and recommend corrective actions
• Work closely with production teams to minimize downtime
• Follow safety procedures and maintenance best practices
• Report directly to the Maintenance Manager

Qualifications

• Experience with mechanical and electrical repair and troubleshooting
• Ability to read and troubleshoot electrical schematics
• Hands-on maintenance experience in an industrial or shop environment
• Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Prior experience in a fabrication or welding environment is a plus,but not required

Specific Requirements

• Experience performing maintenance and PMs on industrial equipment
• Forklift and diesel truck maintenance experience
• Familiarity with shop machinery such as shears and lasers
• Ability to work day shift schedule (4x10s)
• Willingness to work additional days during peak production periods
• Ability to lift,move,and work around heavy equipment
• Must be able to follow safety and maintenance procedures
• May be required to pass a background check and/or drug screening

Pay Rate

$20.00 - $30.00 per hour

Schedule

Full Time | Day Shift | 4x10s starting at 5:30am or 6:00am
