Spring Forward Into a Role You\'ll LoveGrow With Us! Goodwill TalentBridge is hiring an Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Specialist to support workplace safety, OSHA compliance, and environmental programs in a manufacturing environment.

This contract role focuses on inspections, audits, safety training, hazardous materials management, and sustainability initiatives.\ \ Our client is committed to creating a safe and sustainable workplace. As an EHS Specialist, you will play a key role in managing site level Environmental Health & Safety programs, ensuring regulatory compliance, and promoting a strong safety culture across operations.

Position Details:
  • Contract Role
  • Schedule: Monday- Friday 7:00AM-3:30PM
  • Pay rate \$28.84-\$31 an hour based on experience
What Youll Do:
  • Oversee daily EHS activities at the site, including:
  • Conducting inspections and audits
  • Managing contractor safety programs
  • Overseeing waste and hazardous materials handling
  • Supporting change management processes
  • Coordinate emergency response and site access protocols
  • Develop and implement EHS procedures and work instructions
  • Manage training programs:
  • Deliver and assign training to employees
  • Create engaging training materials
  • Ensure timely completion of all required training
  • Maintain Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and manage vendor relationships
  • Take on additional responsibilities based on expertise and organizational needs
What Were Looking For:
  • Bachelors degree in Occupational Health & Safety OR technical degree (Chemistry, Biology, Engineering) with relevant EHS experience
  • Familiarity with OSHA and EHS principles
  • Strong initiative and ability to work independently or in a team
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Comfortable delivering training to large groups
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
