Job Title: Warehouse Worker - $18 TO $20/HOUR - START ASAP
Job Description
The Warehouse Worker plays a key role in the order fulfillment process by accurately picking, packaging, and preparing orders for shipment. This position operates material handling equipment, uses computer systems for shipping and scanning, and ensures that all products are handled safely and efficiently in a clean warehouse environment.
Responsibilities
Pick, package, and prepare customer orders for shipment with accuracy and attention to detail.
Operate a manual banding machine to securely package products and pallets for transport.
Use computer systems, including shipping portals and scanning tools, to process and track orders.
Safely operate a forklift to move, load, unload, and organize materials within the warehouse.
Use a pallet jack to move pallets and materials efficiently throughout the facility.
Maintain accurate inventory by properly labeling, scanning, and storing products.
Follow all safety procedures and guidelines while operating equipment and handling materials.
Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards to support a safe and efficient workflow.
Collaborate with team members to meet daily shipping and production targets.
Essential Skills
Experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or similar environment.
Ability to operate a manual banding machine for secure packaging.
Proficiency using basic computer systems, including shipping portals and scanning tools.
Familiarity with general warehouse operations and inventory handling.
Ability to safely operate a pallet jack and handle materials throughout the workday.
Capability to work on-site in a warehouse environment and perform physical tasks such as lifting, moving, and standing for extended periods.
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office for simple data entry or documentation.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Previous experience in warehouse, distribution, or logistics roles.
Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate order picking and shipping.
Good organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and standard operating procedures.
Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to assist in different areas of the warehouse as needed.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sioux Falls, SD.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.00/hr.
