Practice Details

Sanford Research, Sanford Children’s Hospital and Sanford USD School of Medicine are seeking a full time Pediatric Endocrinologist to join a dynamic team running an active portfolio of clinical trials in type 1 diabetes.

• Sanford Health has made a major commitment to improving type 1 diabetes care with an established clinical research program

• Current efforts include general population screening for type 1 diabetes that is integrated into routine pediatric care in every Sanford clinic

• Additional intervention trials span from pre-symptomatic to long-established type 1 diabetes

• Join an experienced team of three physicians and one nurse practitioner in the section, working closely with an interdisciplinary team in-clinic social workers, dietitians, diabetes educators, behavioral health, and genetic counselors to support ongoing care of children with diabetes and other endocrine disorders

• More than 70 sub-specialists and hospitalists share in multidisciplinary patient care & education of pediatric residents
