Adecco US, Inc. Pharmacist in Sioux City, Iowa
We are seeking an experienced Travel Pharmacist to support our client’s Level 3 Trauma Center in Iowa. The traveler may be asked to float within the same discipline across local campuses as needed. This position requires expertise in sterile compounding, adult med/surg, and critical care. Candidates must have prior hospital experience and be licensed in Iowa with no restrictions.
Location: Sioux City, Iowa
Job duration: Minimum of 13-weeks (possible extension)
Contract Type: Travel /Temporary
Shift: 9:00PM-9:00AM, no call: 7on/7off, 10hr. shift 2100 - 0700 - Every other weekend, holidays per schedule
Pay range: $65.00-73.00/hr. – depending on your location and level of experience
Facility Requirements: Must have a taxable address outside 50 miles from facility
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and dispense medications accurately and safely, including sterile compounding.
Support pharmacy operations across multiple hospital campuses.
Utilize EPIC EMR for all clinical and operational documentation.
Serve as a preceptor or charge pharmacist as assigned.
Participate in on-call, call back, and holiday coverage as required.
Requirements
Experience & Credentials:
Must be a licensed Pharmacist in the State of Iowa with no restrictions; Compact license allowed.
Minimum 2 years of pharmacy experience, preferably hospital experience.
Completion of at least 1 prior travel contract [preferred].
Sterile compounding experience.
EPIC EMR experience.
Additional Information
Must have a taxable address outside 50 miles from the facility.
