We are currently seeking highly motivated Warehouse Team Members at our Sioux City, IA location. Duties include operating a sit-down forklift to receive incoming truckloads, load outgoing truckloads, and move raw materials, parts and finished goods throughout the plant in a safe and timely manner. Attention to detail for accuracy in completing paperwork including Bills of Loading and Bills of Materials.
What will you be doing?
• Safely operate, inspect, and perform routine maintenance on a propane-powered sit down forklift and report any safety or mechanical problems.
• Coordinate miscellaneous trailer movement as needed.
• Examine and accurately pull work orders from finished goods inventory for shipment, verify against Bill of Loading, and complete shipping paperwork.
• Transfer finished goods to holding and/or loading areas.
• Inventory material and record counts on required forms - report shortages, discrepancies, or damages to Supervisor.
• Knowledge of and compliance with all department and safety SOPs, policies, and procedures.
• Maintain a safe work environment and wear required PPE at all times.
• Ensure work and storage areas are kept clean and organized, as well as safe start-up and shut down of any equipment used.
• Other duties as assigned.

• You have a high school diploma or equivalent education.
• You can operate various material handling equipment, but sit-down forklift experience is a must!
• You are a team player, including effective communication.
• You are a self starter and can be trusted to operate with limited supervision.
• You have great attention to detail to maintain accurate records and manage the order of products and materials.
• You have knowledge of shipping and receiving processes.
• You are a safety champion - your team trusts you to use safe practices at all times!
• You can grasp and operate within a plant layout, including racks, production floor, and staging areas.
• You can easily convert weight/units for inventory counting.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, hear, stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS: Industrial warehouse environment.
