Cognizant Solution Architect (Public Sector Focus) in Singapore,SG, Singapore

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect to lead and deliver multi‑service line projects across Applications, Infrastructure, and Security domains. This role is key in shaping end‑to‑end architecture for large‑scale transformation initiatives, particularly within Singapore’s Public Sector landscape.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and deliver multi‑service line projects (Applications, Infrastructure, Security) as the Solution Architect.

  • Understand client requirements, IT landscape, frameworks, and business objectives to guide solution architecture.

  • Own the architecture design and collaborate with Business Analysts and Project Managers.

  • Apply processes, methodologies, standards, and frameworks.

  • Define architecture components, products, and frameworks.

  • Translate client needs into robust, scalable solutions.

  • Serve as SME for architectural frameworks and tools.

  • Implement architecture principles across integration, applications, data, infrastructure, and security.

  • Support proposals with solution design, diagrams, and technical write‑ups.

Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 15 years of IT experience, including 8–10 years in Singapore Public Sector projects.

  • Proven Systems Integration (SI) project experience.

  • Ability to integrate solutions across multiple service lines.

  • Strong consulting background with exposure to large‑scale programs.

  • Experience in API‑based Architecture and Design.

  • Knowledge of TOGAF or other frameworks/tools.

  • Experience in Data, Digital Engineering, and Cloud (e.g., GCC).

  • Background in consulting or tech product companies is advantageous.

  • Knowledge of GCC, GPC, GDC preferred.

  • Exposure to infrastructure architecture and network design.
