What’s the Role?
We are looking for a Strategic Sourcing Manager to join our dynamic Global Procurement team in APAC, based in Singapore.
As an individual contributor, you will support sourcing activities across multiple business units, with a focus on Capital Works and Facilities Management. You will partner closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors across the region, building strong relationships, understanding diverse business needs, and delivering effective sourcing strategies.
This role requires a solid foundation in procurement principles, proven ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships, and attention to detail. You will operate in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment, partnering with a broad range of stakeholders across various functions in APAC and globally to deliver impactful sourcing objectives
We'll Trust You To:
Be able to provide expertise in procurement and commercial insights to internal customers and other stakeholders
Build strong and lasting relationships with internal stakeholders and key vendors
Think strategically, collaborate effectively, and negotiate skillfully
Negotiate and engage with key stakeholders and vendors to facilitate delivery and compliance with Bloomberg’s Procurement Framework
Develop, implement and enhance sourcing strategies and manage a robust sourcing pipeline
Determine specifications and requirements for products and services through collaboration with stakeholders and the departments’ strategic plans and needs
Be able to make sourcing recommendations based on financial analysis, cost structure of categories, vendor alignment with Bloomberg’s goals and strategies, and vendor position in their industry alongside marketplace offerings
Understand the internal and external environment for the goods/services required by the business
Support change management and adhere to purchasing frameworks and vendor risk management policies
Effectively communicate impact of market changes and potential effects on vendors to stakeholders
Persuasive and able to align cross-functional teams with different goals and complexities
Deliver outstanding customer service and support regional sourcing opportunities
Innovate within the procurement space; look for new ways to structure S2P programs and/or categories
You'll need to have:
Minimum 10+ years’ experience in Strategic Sourcing / Procurementroles
Proven category experience inCapital Works and Facilities Management, including A&A works, office renovations, facilities operations, and MEP/infrastructure projects.
Experience leading regional sourcing initiatives across the Asia Pacific region
Proven experience operating in a commercial environment, with a demonstrated ability to lead complex commercial and contractual negotiations, conduct competitive market analysis, and manage supplier performance through structured metrics and scorecards
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
Demonstrated project management experience with the ability to drive outcomes
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently
Comfortable navigating ambiguity while maintaining structure and control
Strong judgment with the ability to make sound, timely decisions
Solid contractual knowledge with strong negotiation capabilities
Understanding of contract law and relevant regulatory frameworks
Adaptable and quick to learn new tools and systems relevant to the role
Excellent written and verbal communication skill in English
Demonstrated continuous growth within an organisation
Bachelor's degree or degree-equivalent qualifications

Knowledge of international trade terms
Applied knowledge of regulatory/compliance contracting
SAP or other ERP systems knowledge
Strong MS Office and technical skills
CPP / CIPS / CPM certification
