Overview
Role Summary
Technical lead responsible for designing, building and operating scalable, secure cloud infrastructure and services that turn AI/automation and ML prototypes into production-grade platforms. You’ll lead a team of engineers, collaborate closely with data science, product and UX, and ensure integrations, reliability and privacy compliance across tools being developed by the hub.
Key responsibilities
Design and deliver scalable, reliable cloud infrastructure and platform services (pipelines, APIs, orchestration logic) to productionise prototypes.
Define and implement multi-account/cloud tenancy strategy, network/security architecture, and infrastructure-as-code standards.
Review and approve infrastructure and system designs for scalability, cost, security and operability.
Build CI/CD, observability, monitoring and incident response practices to ensure high availability and performance.
Work with the Platform Lead to align engineering priorities with product roadmap and business outcomes.
Drive cross-functional collaboration with data scientists, analysts, product and UX to ensure seamless integration of models and features.
Ensure testing, privacy, security and compliance requirements are met for deployments across APAC markets.
Lead code reviews, set engineering standards, and mentor/coach engineers to raise team capability and delivery quality.
Own technical delivery and accountability for platform components used by Publicis for its clients.
Qualifications
At least 7-8 years’ experience building and operating cloud-based systems and services.
Hands‑on with managing cloud environments (AWS/GCP/Azure) and using containers and automation tools to deploy applications.
Strong coding ability in backend languages (eg. Python, Go, Java/Node) and experience designing reliable APIs and services.
Practical experience with deployment pipelines, monitoring/observability and incident response to keep services running.
Good understanding of security, identity/access and privacy concerns for multi‑tenant or client-facing systems.
Proven track record of leading technical teams, mentoring engineers and owning delivery end‑to‑end.
Experience integrating platforms with client tech stacks and deploying across APAC/SEA markets.
Familiarity with marketing tech or identity/content platforms will be a plus.
