Overview
As the Microsoft Singapore Public Sector Leader and a senior member of the country leadership team, you will lead a high-performing organization of account teams to become the trusted partner to government, education, and healthcare leaders, accelerating their AI journey from strategy to measurable outcomes. You set the vision and growth strategy, orchestrate “One Microsoft” execution across sales, engineering, partners, and stakeholders, and serve as a credible spokesperson in Singapore’s policy, regulatory, and procurement environment, opening doors and removing barriers so our team can win ethically and sustainably. You will have important people management responsibilities including driving employee growth and development, executing projects, and managing performance.
This opportunity will allow you to deliver the highest level of impact by working at the national level to drive policy influence and transformational change. You will build deep mastery at the intersection of AI, security and governance, and public sector transformation; sharpen your ability to lead complex, multi-stakeholder programs where priorities need to be aligned; and elevate your executive leadership brand by coaching leaders and teams, and building an inclusive, resilient growth engine across customers and partners.

Responsibilities
As the Public Sector Lead, you will lead an organization of account teams to create and foster long-term relationships, delivering value to public sector customers. You will be considered a leader in the following areas:
Growth and AI Transformational Sales Leadership - You will exceed Revenue, Consumption, Usage and Customer Satisfaction Goals. Lead the transformation of our sales teams through frictionless cross-team orchestration to ensure we deliver value and satisfaction for all Public Sector customers as One Microsoft. Build business and go to market models that address company strategy within constraints of country / area maturity and resource limitations
Customer, Partner and Market Thought Leadership - You will become the trusted advisor and spokesperson in the relevant local industry and regulatory and policy environments, thereby opening doors and removing barriers for our sales teams, partners, and customers. Motivate Sales Managers and Sellers, to enable business and technical outcomes, providing value to our customers throughout their AI journey in a customer centric manner. Demonstrate partner advocacy and sponsorship to drive scale and share through co–selling.
People Leadership - In conjunction with the sales managers, commit to attracting, leading, developing, and retaining a diverse and inclusive sales organization that is motivated and agile.Foster an inspirational coaching culture that empowers the team to deliver and continuously learn.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications (RQs)
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, Computer Science, Engineering (e.g., Electrical or Mechanical), Business Management, Economics, or related field AND 8+ years experience in sales, marketing/advertising, managing high performance sales and technical-sales teams, and/or leadership roles in multi-tiered large organizations
OR Master's Degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, Computer Science, Engineering (e.g., Electrical or Mechanical), Business Management, Economics, or related field AND 7+ years experience in sales, marketing/advertising, managing high performance sales and technical-sales teams, and/or leadership roles in multi-tiered large organization
OR equivalent experience
3+ years direct/formal, indirect/informal, and/or project team people management experience
Preferred Qualifications (PQs)
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, Computer Science, Engineering (e.g., Electrical or Mechanical), Business Management, Economics, or related field AND 15+ years experience in sales, marketing/advertising, managing high performance sales and technical-sales teams, and/or leadership roles in multi-tiered large organizations
OR Master's Degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, Computer Science, Engineering (e.g., Electrical or Mechanical), Business Management, Economics, or related field AND 10+ years experience in sales, marketing/advertising, managing high performance sales and technical-sales teams, and/or leadership roles in multi-tiered large organizations
OR equivalent experience
10+ years experience leading teams and/or managers in a Sales organization
10+ years direct/formal people management experience
