Manager, Strategic NPI Manufacturing

Summary:
To identify, standardize, deploy NPI best practices, among businesss units (BU) and factories, to align NPIs with business goals. Ensure success launch and flawless ramp of critical NPI programs from NPI to production in terms of product quality and time to market.
Responsibilities:
- Support on the strategic manufacturing direction
NPI standardization on best practices development
Escalation for support from BU: PM and engineering
Flawless transition from NPI kick off (KO) to ramp per plan
Monitoring of program progress for any stoppers and adnormality
Proper execution on the phase / gate review/exit with defined gate review meeting
Ensure critical program major milestones happening in factories through on site witness
Hands on support with local MSR for any immediate risk mitigation
Deployment and execution of MRM process
Line start readiness review
Process qualification
Jig and Fixture Readiness
Tester readiness
DFM/DFT review and JIRA log/status tracking
Build Report readiness and review
Identifing further improvement opportunities on existing processes
BU PDP process
Ops MRM process
Factory NPI process
Material driven process
DFM/DFT process
Shift left
Document standardization of daily communication tools for NPI build execution within fatory:
NPI program master list: include the detailed information on official kicked off NPI, team members from factory/BU and phases timeline etc
Factory Build plan: align the start/end plan with all the functional support like SMT, Manual insertion and casing, F5/F10a and full blast etc
Experience:
Bachelor in manufacturing, mechanical or industrial engineering
More than 10 years related experience in factories
Project leadership, ability to direct actions of others to meet customer requirements.
Able to work independently with little instruction/oversight.
Ability to manage multiple projects at one time.
Strong verbal and written communication skills,analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Able to work in Fast-changing dynamic environment
Frequent travel to other locations for operational support is expected.
