Cognizant Mainframe Developer in Singapore, Singapore
Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled Mainframe Develope r with 3-9 years of experience in CardLink or Vision Plus development. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in CardLink or Vision Plus development and be well-versed in Mainframe Cobol, CICS, Easytrieve, JCL, VSAM. Knowledge of any Cards platforms is a plus. This role involves working on development activities with a strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and banking concepts.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain applications on the Mainframe platform.
Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Production Support experience and Card link and Payments Card domain experience
Banking Sector experience and familiar with SDLC process and change management tools
Good knowledge of Cards and Payments
Collaborate with team members to ensure high-quality deliverables.
Utilize COBOL for development tasks.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Mainframe applications.
Skills and Qualifications:
3-9 years of experience in Mainframe development.
Prior experience with Card Link / Vision plus development is must.
Proficiency in COBOL, JCL, VSAM and CICS.
Knowledge of credit cards domain is a plus.
Strong understanding of banking concepts.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in the banking and financial services industry.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
