Manulife Lead, Distribution Transformation Management Office in Singapore, Singapore

This role offers a unique opportunity to shape and govern Manulife’s enterprise‑wide distribution transformation portfolio, ensuring initiatives are insight‑led, value‑aligned, and tightly connected to field realities. You will act as a strategic connector across distribution, product, technology, and transformation teams, translating strategy into executable roadmaps and measurable outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategy & Portfolio Management

  • Drive structured ideation, prioritization, and evaluation of transformation initiatives.

  • Shape and maintain a coherent, value‑aligned portfolio that advances distribution strategy.

2. Roadmap & Cross‑Stakeholder Alignment

  • Integrate distributor insights, field feedback, and internal product owner inputs into a unified roadmap.

  • Maintain transparency and traceability of roadmap changes across stakeholders.

  • Ensure all initiatives remain aligned with strategic intent, market needs, and field realities.

3. Voice of Distributor & Insight Analytics

  • Capture and synthesize NPS, CSAT, sentiment data, and usage analytics from distributors.

  • Identify pain points and prioritize enhancements based on insights and clear value drivers.

  • Close the feedback loop through structured communication and continuous improvement cycles.

4. Performance Measurement & Economics

  • Define KPIs and success metrics across all transformation initiatives.

  • Validate financial assumptions and business cases to ensure alignment with segment economics.

  • Monitor, evaluate, and quantify the impact of transformation initiatives on agency performance, assessing behavioral shifts, productivity outcomes, and value realization across segments.

  • Track value realization and provide transparent reporting on performance outcomes.

5. Transformation Governance

  • Establish and uphold governance standards, decision frameworks, and operating rhythms that ensure disciplined execution of the enterprise-wide distribution transformation portfolio.

  • Serve as the internal transformation champion, driving alignment, transparency, and accountability across business owners, tech teams, field stakeholders, and executive leaders.

  • Collaborate closely with the Corporate Transformation Office to harmonize governance processes, share insights, coordinate interdependent initiatives, and ensure distribution transformation remains synchronized with broader enterprise priorities.

  • Facilitate structured forums (e.g., steering committees, governance councils, performance reviews) to escalate risks, track outcomes, and support data-driven decision-making.

Required Qualifications:

  • 8+ years’ experience in transformation, portfolio governance, program delivery, or distribution strategy.

  • Strong understanding of insurance distribution models and field dynamics (agency/bancassurance).

  • Expertise in change management, roadmap governance, and cross‑functional alignment.

  • Experience in service management, capability development, or field tools/platforms.

  • Familiarity with data‑driven decision frameworks, and performance measurement.

  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
