Intern – Procurement Generalist
Labcorp is seeking a Procurement Generalist Intern to join our team in Singapore .
Job Responsibilities:
This internship offers a unique opportunity for a Supply Chain Management student to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic regional biopharmaceutical environment. The intern will be exposed to end-to-end supply chain operations, including warehousing, procurement, and invoicing.
Assist in daily supply chain operations including inventory tracking, order processing, and vendor coordination.
Support procurement activities such as new vendor setup/updates, reviewing quotations, approving requisitions, generate report for procurement analysis.
Troubleshoot and resolve operational and payment issues with vendors.
Participate in the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for the upcoming Oracle Cloud Fusion new system implementation.
Learn, explore and develop AI/Copilot prompts to enhance procurement efficiency and automation.
Develop problem-solving skills in operational and financial contexts.
Learn how AI tools can be applied to streamline procurement workflows.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Diploma in Supply Chain Management.
Additional Job Standards:
Good knowledge and understanding of procurement and customer service.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Power Bi
Ability to work effectively with various stakeholders and internal/external colleagues.
Preference will be given to credit-bearing internship candidates who are able to commit to a minimum duration of 22 weeks.
