Overview

A critical role within the Finance team, the Finance Operations Manager assist the Financial Controller to manage the financial operations within the advertising/PR unit, ensuring accuracy, compliance and efficiency in all financial processes in accordance to the Group Finance policy and Accounting Standards. This role acts as a strategic partner to business leads, driving operational excellence and supporting commercial team on client profitability analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day finance operations including invoicing, Vendor Purchase orders and WIP reconciliations on job management system.

  • Working closely with the Commercial Assistant Finance Manager on regular revenue reviews with account leads and also support management by providing financial & commercial analysis for each client account.

  • Ensure compliance of client revenue recognition policies and guidelines.

  • Assist in revenue budgeting and reporting procedures, ensuring that the numbers are reliable, stable and accurate.

  • Working with internal and external auditors, ensuring policies compliance in place.

  • Ensure that all management reports submitted within deadline. Monthly, quarterly and yearly reporting to be carried out with high accuracy and timeliness and developing process to ensure quality reporting variances to be fully explained

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related field.

  • Qualified Chartered Accountant is preferred

  • Minimum 5+ years of working experience and ideally in Advertising/PR industry

  • Strong collaboration and communication skills to engage all levels of the organisation with credibility

  • Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting

  • Maintain strong internal controls and compliance with accounting standards.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Strong organizational and system technical skills.

  • Experience with SAP, Hyperion-HFM (reporting system), Powerpoint, and Advanced Excel will be an advantage.
