What the day will look like
Help deliver team budget including goals of growth, profitability and increasing market share
Manage a portfolio of corporate & bank clients, with support from manager
Accurate & timely maintenance of systems, billings and data entry
Be aware of and focus on delivering team goals of growth, profitability, retention & increasing market share
Assist in structuring of Trade Credit, Political Risk and Surety Insurance products/programmes
Assist in broking and placing of products to the insurance market
Help advise and negotiate with clients and underwriters
Support for more junior team members including training and advice to improve performance and development; leading by example; providing clear directions; sharing knowledge and information
Support senior team members when required
Start building successful long term business relationships & develop professional network
Learn and deploy trade credit & political risk insurance technicalities, & broking skills & standards
Implement & comply with Non-Negotiable standards and requirements
Ensure regulatory & corporate compliance standards are met at all times
Skills and experience that will lead to success
Minimum 1 to 5 years relevant experience with experience in insurance/trade credit highly preferred
Degree in Banking/Finance/Insurance with understanding of the industry
Understanding and experience of general corporate business in Singapore &/or multinational environment
In-depth knowledge of current digital trends
Experience in digital marketing, or a related field
Experience with SEO and SEM strategy and keyword research
Understanding of website analytics tools, such as Google Analytics
Fluent in both spoken and written English; additional languages will be added advantage
Possess excellent oral, written, interpersonal, presentation and marketing skills
Attention to detail, pro-active and results orientated
Possess strong negotiation skills
Possess good analytical mind with strong business acumen
Ability to develop and maintain business relationships
Willing to work hard to deliver results
Be highly reliable, adaptable to changes and a good team player
