About Role

ROLE DESCRIPTION

This is a sales role focused on expanding Hach solution offering, marketing presence &

market share in Singapore. Ensures incremental revenue growth via strong visibility to available

industrial & municipality market opportunities, and ensures sales funnels are strongly maintained

and strategically managed. Provides expert application and technical on-site support to our

field sales associates and aligns strategic sales initiatives with our field sales organization in the assigned territory.

This role allows you to leverage both your technical and commercial skills.

What You'll Be Doing (Job Responsibilities)

  • Project Business Support :

  • Actively engage in detailed product presentations and live demonstrations tailored to the specific needs and interests of the customer to drive business opportunities.

  • Execute a tailored product selection process to align with individual customer requirements, ensuring a bespoke solution for every project.

  • Manage comprehensive project documentation to facilitate seamless commercial negotiations and agreements.

  • Coordinate project delivery by leading cross-functional teams and managing collaboration with third-party integrators to ensure timely and efficient implementation.

  • Market Development Initiatives :

  • Strategize and implement market development plans to introduce and establish business for advanced applications in targeted markets.

  • Conduct market analysis to identify new market opportunities and formulate entry strategies for advanced technology applications.

  • Product Innovation and Collaboration :

  • Capture the voice of the customer to understand customer pain points and unmet needs.

  • Partner with Product Management (PM) and global product innovation teams to conceive and develop the next generation of products, aligning with the company's strategic direction and market demand.

  • Training and Seminar Leadership :

  • Design and conduct comprehensive training programs and seminars to educate and engage stakeholders on the latest solutions and technologies, thereby nurturing early interest and adoption among customers.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical or business field, Chemical Engineering, Environmental, Hydrology, or similar.

  • 5-7 years of sales & management experience in water treatment process/technology

  • Able to empathize with customers, translating needs into products.

  • Thorough understanding of target markets and water applications for Product Lines.

  • Understanding of trends impacting vertical markets and overall business.

  • Experience in managing (project) sales through 3rd parties (agents), and in motivating a group of sales reps and/or agents

  • Demonstrated ability to develop, communicate and implement strategic business plans

  • Strong planning, organization, listening and communication skills

  • International experience and intercultural agility a plus

  • English Proficiency required
