What you’ll do:
The Senior Process Quality Engineer will be responsible for process quality control activities and will be responsible of 2 foremans and 5 operators
Lead process quality assurance activities across manufacturing operations in line with Eaton Quality Management System (EQS) and ISO 9001
Manage and develop 2 Quality Foremen and 5 Quality Operators, ensuring standard work, competence development, and daily quality discipline
Ensure effective implementation and sustainability of process control plans, inspection instructions, and quality standards.
Monitor and improve process capability (Cp, Cpk) and manufacturing stability.
Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions (A3 / 8D) for internal process nonconformities, scrap, rework, and customer-related process issues.
Drive reduction of PPM, scrap, rework, and line disruptions through structured problem-solving and data-driven decisions.
Own and maintain APQP, PPAP, MSA, SPC activities related to manufacturing processes.
Ensure effective use and validation of measurement systems and inspection methods.
Maintain and continuously improve process FMEA, control plans, and standard work documentation in coordination with Engineering and Manufacturing.
Support and participate in internal, process, and system audits (ISO 9001, Eaton standards).
Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to process quality, yield, and first-pass yield (FPY).
Support plant initiatives such as Lean, Cost Out, and operational excellence projects from a quality perspective.
Qualifications:
BS or MS degree in Metallurgical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or equivalent programs
At least 3 years' experience in similar position
Preferably in high-volume manufacturing industries such as automotive or white goods, where strong process discipline and use of core quality tools are essential.
Skills:
Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, Eaton Quality Management System, and process quality methodologies.
Hands-on experience with process control, SPC, MSA, PFMEA, and control plans.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and process requirements.
Proven shopfloor leadership and people management capability.
Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
Effective communication and influencing skills in a matrix organization.
Ability to work in an international, culturally diverse environment.
Advanced proficiency in MS Office applications.
Advanced English (written and spoken).
