Cleveland-Cliffs Inc. Plant Maintenance Technician in Silver Bay, Minnesota
Location: Silver Bay, MN
Cleveland-Cliffs has an immediate opportunity for a Plant Maintenance Technicians at our Northshore Mining Company Plant in Silver Bay, MN. The primary function of this position will be to perform general repair and maintenance of processing plant equipment in the Fine Crusher, Concentrator, Pellet Plant, and Yards and Docks.
Summary of Responsibilities:
Repair and maintain equipment plant wide.
Identifies and repairs safety hazards, assists with incident investigations.
Use computerized maintenance management system (Ellipse) for work order record keeping and inventory withdrawal.
Works safely and wears appropriate personal protective equipment.
Will train with weekday maintenance crew.
Willing to work shift-work and assist in other areas of department or plant as needed.
Other duties as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
Must be familiar with pumps, mechanical drives, conveying equipment, possess millwright skills.
Must be proficient at three-position welding.
Complete interactive computer course on Industrial Hydraulic Power within 3 months.
Have a good safety record, be self-directed, and function well in a team environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent attendance record.

The pay range for this role is $30.72/hour to $45.31/hour.
