Summary
Serve guests in a courteous, helpful, and prompt manner.
Responsible for coordinating server stations and communicating with the front and back-of-the-house personnel to provide a dining experience that exceeds our guests expectations.
Process guest orders to ensure that all items are prepared and delivered accurately and on a timely basis. Anticipate when meals have been completed, and total bills and accept payment.
Responsibilities
- Customer Service:Greeting guests, presenting menus, explaining daily specials, and making recommendations.
- Order Management:Taking food and drink orders, entering them accurately into POS systems, and relaying special dietary needs or allergies to kitchen staff.
- Service Delivery: Delivering food and beverages, refilling drinks, and checking in with guests to ensure satisfaction
- Maintenance & Cleaning:Setting up dining areas, clearing tables (bussing), cleaning, and performing side work (e.g., rolling silverware).
- Payment Processing:Calculating bills, processing cash or credit card payments, and handling transactions.
- Teamwork:Coordinating with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely service.
Skills and Qualifications
- Experience:Previous food service or hospitality experience.
- Skills:Strong communication, multitasking, attentiveness, and POS system knowledge.
- Physical Ability:Ability to stand/walk for long hours and lift trays.
- Attributes:Positive attitude, professional demeanor, and ability to handle high-stress situation
