Position Overview

Minimum Qualifications
Education: Bachelors or masters degree in education or a related field.
Certification: Arizona Teaching Certificate with appropriate endorsement in the core content area.
Additional Requirements:
Structured English Immersion (SEI) Endorsement (Preferred).
Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.
Key Responsibilities
Instruction & Classroom Management
Communicate clear learning goals using well-structured, precise instruction.
Develop and deliver lessons aligned with district and state standards.
Adapt instruction to meet diverse learning needs, including students with IEPs.
Utilize Beyond Textbooks and other technology tools to enhance learning.
Assess student progress using district and state data to inform instruction.
Establish and maintain a positive, structured learning environment.
Student Support & Collaboration
Implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) effectively.
Collaborate with staff to review and support low-performing students.
Address and document student behavior and attendance concerns.
Participate in the intervention process and school-wide initiatives.
Professional Responsibilities
Reflect on teaching practices and seek continuous professional growth.
Maintain accurate records as required by law and district policies.
Attend staff meetings, parent conferences, and school events.
Adhere to district and school rules, procedures, and professional expectations.
