Summary

As the line cook, you are responsible for managing the food prep process and cook station through proper setup procedures.

Receive, prepare, and communicate guest orders.

Prepare and plate menu items to meet our quality standards.

Prepare and package catering orders. Maintain a clean and organized workstation and food storage areas.

Assist in dishwashing and back of house operations as needed.

Key Responsibilities

Station Setup & Prep: Before service, line cooks set up their station, which includes chopping, portioning, and prepping ingredients (marinades, sauces, etc.).

Cooking During Service: They work on the \"line,\" using equipment like grills, fryers, or ovens to prepare menu items.

Consistency & Quality: They follow the recipes and plating guidelines designed by the executive chef to ensure every dish tastes and looks the same.

Speed & Efficiency: They work under pressure to get dishes out on time, coordinating with other stations to ensure all food for a table is ready simultaneously.

Hygiene & Safety: They keep their station, tools, and refrigerators clean and organized, adhering to health code

Grill:Cooking meats and vegetables over a grill/stove/oven.

Saut:Preparing sauces, pastas, and sauted items.

Fry:Operating the deep fryers.

Salad/Cold Station:Preparing salads, cold appetizers, and dessert
