Summary
Responsible for the setup, maintenance, and operation of the bar and surrounding tables. Take drink and food orders from patrons or servers.
Prepare and serve alcoholic/non-alcoholic drinks and food in accordance with standard recipes.
Mix ingredients for cocktails and serve wine and bottled or draught beer. Ring drink orders into the register, collect payments, and make change.
Wash and sterilize glassware, prepare garnishes, as well as take food orders for patrons at the bar and for take-out.
Monitor inventory levels and work with management to maintain product stock levels.
Responsibilities
- Customer Service:Greeting patrons, making recommendations, answering questions, and maintaining a friendly, professional demeanor
- Bar Maintenance:Cleaning glasses, utensils, and surfaces, as well as keeping the bar area, coolers, and, sinks clean and organized.
- Safety and Compliance:Verifying legal age (checking IDs) and monitoring customers for intoxication to prevent over-service.
- Cash Handling:Processing cash and credit card payments using POS systems.

- Mixology Knowledge:Strong understanding of cocktails, spirits, and wine, with the ability to create unique drinks.
- Communication & Interaction:Engaging with customers to enhance guest experience.
- Efficiency & Multitasking:Ability to work quickly under pressure during busy shifts.
- Physical Stamina:Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy items like kegs or crates.
