Fairview Health Services Pricing Analyst in Shoreview, Minnesota
Job Overview
Location : Seven Lakes Pharmacy, Shoreview MN
Hours : 80 hours bi-weekly

This position will support inventory control and drug purchasing processes in Fairview pharmacy hospital and ambulatory infusion sites. Provide data gathering and data analysis to support drug purchasing optimization at 340B sites. Build and maintain relationships with suppliers/vendors to facilitate product, price negotiations and mitigate supply disruptions. Coordinate vetting process for 503b suppliers and maintain list of approved 503b suppliers and accounts. Support and participate with corporate Supply Chain to support pharmacy purchasing and supply disruption within Fairview's ERM (PeopleSoft). Perform other analyses and participate on committees and process improvement teams as requested.
Responsibilities
Participate in and lead FPS teams to promote standardization and consistency in use of pharmaceutical products, contract adherence, system initiatives, and other areas of responsibility
Data gathering and data analysis to support optimization of drug purchasing across system, with focus on 340B covered entities, taking into consideration GPO, WAC and PHS pricing and utilization to reach optimal blended rate, while striving to eliminate bad WAC purchasing
Support 340B Team in monitoring GPO, WAC and 340B pricing
Support Supply Chain Contract Administrator for drug contract monitoring of GPO, WAC and 340B accounts
Build and maintain relationships with suppliers/vendors to facilitate product, price negotiations, account set up and mitigate supply disruptions
Provide new account set up for GPO, WAC and 340B accounts as needed
With support and direction from FPS Supply Chain leadership, coordinate vetting process for 503b and 503a suppliers and maintain list of approved suppliers
Act as liaison to acute buyers and ambulatory buyers on system committees such as 503b steering committee (IntegraDose), pharmacy system operations and post P&T
Act as liaison, support and participate with Corporate Supply Chain teams from Pharmacy to support purchasing and supply disruption within Fairview’s ERM (Peoplesoft)
Support system as subject matter expert in training site buyers to support DCSCA
Maintain reporting and data analysis as needed to support pharmacy supply chain leadership and other stakeholders
Perform other duties and analyses as needed or assigned
Required Qualifications
B.S./B.A. in business, health care, data/IT or related field or equivalent combination of education and related experience
7 years progressive work experience in relevant field
Working knowledge of EPIC electronic medical record system
340B split billing software knowledge
Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of tools, including excel
Data analysis and presentation skills
Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication and presentation skills
Preferred Qualifications
Pharmacy Technician MN PTCB certification as a Certified Pharmacy Technician
Technician Licensure and required CE standards

The posted pay range is for a 40-hour workweek (1.0 FTE). The actual rate of pay offered within this range may depend on several factors, such as FTE, skills, knowledge, relevant education, experience, and market conditions.
