Purchasing Analyst
Kelly Services is seeking a detail-oriented Purchasing Analyst to support procurement operations for a leading manufacturing environment. This is a great opportunity for a professional with strong analytical skills who enjoys improving processes and working cross-functionally.
Position Details
Location: Shippensburg, PA (Onsite)
Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week
Duration: Contract role (6 months)
Pay Rate: $50 per hour
Key Responsibilities
Analyze and improve purchasing processes, systems, and reporting tools
Support development of dashboards and reporting (Power BI preferred)
Collect and evaluate technical, financial, and legal data for contracts and bids
Partner with internal teams including finance, legal, and operations
Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with service level agreements (SLAs)
Maintain accurate documentation and purchasing records
Identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies
Qualifications
2–5 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Experience with data analysis and reporting tools (Power BI preferred)
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus
