Wayne Concrete Heavy Equipment Operator with Class A CDL in Shinglehouse, Pennsylvania
Wayne Gravel Products in Shinglehouse, PA is accepting applications for Heavy Equipment Operators to join our Gravel Mining, Construction, and Landscaping teams. Must have Class A CDL with no restrictions. Experience operating Heavy Equipment, such as skid steer, excavator, crane, loader, crusher, and screen required. Mechanical ability a plus.
All applicants must be willing to work some weekends and holidays. An aggressive, detail-oriented, self-starter with a positive can-do attitude is a must.
Key Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Loading, unloading, and moving materials and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Site Preparation: Assisting with site preparation tasks such as grading, leveling, and clearing.
- Maintenance and Repairs: Performing routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and minor repairs of equipment.
- Safety Compliance: Understanding and adhering to safety regulations and guidelines. Troubleshooting: Identifying and reporting equipment malfunctions and assisting with basic repairs.
- Communication: Effectively communicating with supervisors, team members, and other personnel.
Requirements
- Class A CDL with no restrictions
- The job requires physical fitness and the ability to work outdoors in various conditions.
- A good understanding of machinery and their operations is essential.
- Precise control of equipment is necessary for safe and efficient operation.
- Operators need to identify and resolve issues with equipment or the work site.
- Effectively communicating with team members and supervisors.
- Ensuring accuracy and precision in all tasks.
- Previous experience operating heavy equipment is required.
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.

What We Offer:
- Hourly rate starting at $25 - $30 and up depending on experience.
- Overtime pay at time and a half for over 40 hours worked per week.
- Additional $7 per hour for out-of-town jobs.
