Eatons GEIS division is currently seeking a Production Supervisor - 2nd Shift. Relocation assistance provided!

The expected annual salary range for this role is $71,000-$105,000 a year.

What youll do:

Drive Zero Incident Safety Culture Responsible for the workforce, safety, and 5S+ levels assigned to the area. Train, upgrade, evaluate and review operators. Keep employee records of attendance, performance, and departmental activities. Report any process and equipment problems and notify appropriate personnel for assistance when required. Schedule overtime as necessary and required. Conduct Daily Team stand-up meetings with all department personnel in area of responsibility focusing on safety, quality, delivery, cost/productivity, and inventory. Ensure that your department meets production demands and that team leaders understand their roles in the upkeep of order fulfillment. Lead cross-functional team to improve processes and meet plant objectives. Create the basis for continuous improvement and employee empowerment by ensuring that standardized work processes are followed, countermeasures implemented, and the area is compliant with safety requirements. Enforce and implement policies and programs, drive continuous improvement, coach employees on performance and behavior, initiate disciplinary actions as needed, and ensure compliance with safety requirements, PPE use, equipment operation, and 5S standards. Support HR and Leadership team with off-shift engagement activities

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree from an accredited institution OR associate's degree from an accredited institution with a minimum of 2 years manufacturing/operations experience OR High School Diploma/GED from and accredited institution with a minimum of 4 years of manufacturing/operations experience. A minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience. SAP experience. Tig and Mig welding experience

Skills:

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Collaborative and team focused.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Requires PPE to include safety glasses, safety-toe shoes, ear protection, cut resistant sleeves, and any other PPE required by the position.
  • Ability to work week and weekend overtime, as needed by the business.
  • Ability to stand for the duration of the shift .
