SNELLING EMPLOYMENT LLC Make Ready Technician (Sherman) in Sherman, Texas
Make Ready Technician - Full-Time
Salary: Starting at $18/hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM (1-hour lunch)
Overtime: Must be available to work overtime as needed
Position Summary:
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Make Ready Technician to prepare units for new occupants. This role is responsible for completing repairs, performing maintenance tasks, and ensuring units are move-in ready in a timely manner. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, works efficiently, and maintains high quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare vacant units for new residents
- Complete minor repairs including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and drywall
- Patch, paint, and touch up walls as needed
- Install or repair fixtures, appliances, and hardware
- Replace filters, light bulbs, and other basic components
- Ensure units meet cleanliness and quality standards before move-in
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition
- Follow safety guidelines and company procedures
Qualifications:
- Previous maintenance or make ready experience preferred
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and general repair
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely
- Strong attention to detail
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks throughout the day
- Must be able to work overtime when required
