Pay: $20–$25/hour, Full-Time
About the Role
Kelly Services is seeking a skilled Industrial Equipment Mechanic for a reputable manufacturing client in Sherman, Texas. This critical second shift position will help ensure smooth production operations in a safe and supportive environment.
Position Overview
This hands-on role is responsible for technical maintenance and repair of industrial equipment, delivering operational excellence and upholding high safety standards during the second shift (2:00 PM – 10:00 PM, Monday–Friday).
Key Responsibilities
Perform advanced preventative maintenance and repairs on industrial production equipment (e.g., wire drawing machines, manufacturing presses).
Diagnose and resolve complex mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues to minimize equipment downtime.
Enforce safety policies and guarantee compliance with all company and regulatory standards.
Safely operate forklifts for moving equipment and materials (training provided; prior experience preferred).
Maintain accurate repair logs, maintenance schedules, and parts usage documentation.
Qualifications
Verifiable experience as an Industrial or Plant Equipment Mechanic.
Strong proficiency in mechanical systems, hydraulics, and basic industrial electrical systems.
Must be available to work second shift: 2:00 PM–10:00 PM, Monday–Friday.
Willingness to operate a forklift (training provided).
Reliable transportation to Sherman, TX.
