AXE BUILD LLC Certified Welder in Sheridan, Wyoming
Axe Build is looking for skilled certified welders to join our growing construction and fabrication team in Sheridan, Wyoming. The ideal candidate will have experience in AISC structural steel welding and fabrication, with a strong commitment to safety, quality, and precision. Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- Active welding certification (AWS D1.1 Structural Steel or equivalent) -- must provide documentation
- In House CWI can perform weld testing and certification
- Familiarity with welding code requirements (AWS D1.1, D1.3, D1.6)
- Minimum 1-2 years of hands-on welding experience in fabrication, construction, or manufacturing
- Demonstrated ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and welding specifications
- Proven track record of producing quality welds that pass visual and destructive testing
- Physical capability to lift up to 75 lbs regularly and work in various positions (standing, kneeling, overhead, confined spaces)
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and proper PPE usage
