Amazon Senior Technical Program Manager, Asia Technology Center in Shenzhen, China
Description
The Senior Technical Program Manager will lead internal inter-disciplinary teams through product execution with a focus on technology integration for Camera, Sensor, and Wireless. The candidate is responsible for creating and delivering on the project plan, including the schedule. You will work collaboratively with the Device Project Teams to define the required subsystems to integrate into devices. The Senior Technical Program Manager will drive cross-functional alignment of technology functions for programs as per the agreed-to requirements and cross functionally manage other internal team members. The Senior Technical Program Manager will be responsible for the coordination and planning of all engineering builds at the supplier(s) and drive the configuration management deliverables to ensure the timely release of all assemblies to production. In this role, you will:
• Drive execution of projects
• Continuously deepen your knowledge of core technology (especially Camera/Sensor/Wireless) components on Devices
• Lead cross functional project meetings
• Lead milestone reviews
• Present project status to the executive team
• Manage project builds globally
Basic Qualifications
5+ years of technical product or program management experience
7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
3+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience
Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
Experience in oral and written communication in English
Experience in delivering high volume products by leading through Contract Manufacturers
Exceptional influencing and negotiation skills
Hands-on experience with coding/vibe coding, leveraging AI to improve program management efficiency
Preferred Qualifications
7+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership
Knowledge of project management tools
Creative leader with superior analytical abilities and ability to exert organizational influence
Knowledge of software and hardware development process and lifecycle; Experience working with module suppliers
Background in Camera/Sensor/Wireless technology
