What you’ll do:

The Division Program Manager is responsible for the successful execution of division-level local engineering programs and Global Product Line (GPL) programs, ensuring delivery against scope, schedule, cost, quality, and financial commitments. The role provides end-to-end program leadership across local engineering (NPD, sustaining, localization) and GPL-led initiatives, governing integrated program teams to drive on-time launch, design quality, cost competitiveness, and alignment with global product strategies, while ensuring compliance with corporate, division, and organizational policies and processes.

A. Program Ownership & Execution (Local & GPL)

Owns Responsibility, Authority, and Accountability (RAA) for local engineering programs and assigned GPL programs, from program authorization through launch and lifecycle execution, ensuring delivery within technical, schedule, cost, and quality commitments.

B. Local Engineering Program Leadership

Leads division local engineering programs, including new product development, product localization, and sustaining engineering initiatives, ensuring alignment to customer, regulatory, and manufacturing requirements.

C. GPL Program Interface & Alignment

Acts as the division program lead and primary interface to Global Product Line (GPL) Program Managers and Product Management, ensuring division execution aligns with global roadmaps, standard designs, and governance expectations.

D. Integrated Program Team (IPT) Leadership

Leads and influences cross-functional IPTs (Engineering, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Quality, Finance, Marketing/Product Management) to ensure aligned execution, rapid issue resolution, and effective decision-making across local and global stakeholders.

E. Financial & Resource Management

Manages program financial performance and resource commitments, including engineering cost, capital, tooling, and change management, in coordination with GPL and division finance to meet business objectives.

F. Program Governance & Process Excellence

Drives consistent application of program management, NPD, and change governance processes across local engineering and GPL programs, improving predictability, transparency, and execution discipline.

G. Risk, Issue, and Change Management

Identifies, assesses, and mitigates technical, schedule, and supply risks; leads change impact assessments and approvals with engineering, GPL, and commercial stakeholders to protect product integrity and business outcomes.

H. People Leadership & Capability Building

Develops program management capability within the division by coaching Program and Project Managers, setting objectives, reviewing performance, and strengthening collaboration between local teams and GPL organizations.

I. Continuous Improvement & Strategic Alignment

Drives continuous improvement using Eaton Business System (EBS) principles and ensures local engineering and GPL programs support division strategy, product competitiveness, and long-term capability roadmaps. "

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree and above

  • Have 10-year above experience in product marketing

  • Experience in UPS or Power related industry product design, sales or commercial roles are preferred

  • Proven experience in engineering program and/or product development program management at division, multi-site, or global level

  • Experience working with or within Global Product Line (GPL) or platform organizations

  • Strong financial and resource management acumen, including engineering cost, investment, and lifecycle trade-offs

  • Demonstrated ability to lead and influence in a matrix environment, managing across local and global organizations

  • Strong technical and systems-level understanding of product development and industrialization processes

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including interaction with global teams

  • Experience in electrical, power quality, or industrial technology environments preferred

  • Demonstrated commitment to process discipline, continuous improvement, and operational excellence
