Your role and responsibilities
As an Application Architect specializing in Enterprise Application Integration (EAI), you will serve as a thought leader in the development of strategic middleware designs and standards. Your expertise will enable optimal solutions for clients, working with and enhancing complex, highly integrated enterprise applications. Your primary responsibilities will include: • Design Middleware Solutions: Translate business requirements into technical solutions and collaborate with application developers and stakeholders to support tactical and strategic middleware initiatives. • Oversee Middleware Technologies: Install, configure, upgrade, test, and debug middleware technologies on Linux and Windows platforms, including IIB, Software AG, WebSphere DataPower, SI, Tibco, and Mule. • Promote Emerging Technologies: Identify and promote emerging and growth areas in the industry, such as automation, DevOps, Cloud, blockchain, and IoT. • Architect Environments: Architect and design production and non-production environments. • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work with clients and stakeholders to deliver optimal solutions and support middleware initiatives.
Required technical and professional expertise
• 7-10 yrs experience preferred, junior application architect with cloud certificate preferred.
• prefer more hands on experience rather than leadership skills
• There are no specific requirement on particular language, but the candidate should have a particular strong language (e.g. Java, Python, Javascript)
• The role is more on R&D (Research and development) the business domain knowledge is not a critical part of the job
• The candidate would participate into China (GBA) focus projects in the future. Knowledge and sense to China IT ecosystem, laws (like PIPL) is important
• Cantonese is needed, can communicate in daily work, English spoken is not must
• Excellent communication skills
