Job Summary:
The Program Manager for Physical Security and Access Control is responsible for overseeing the strategic management and operational oversight of Mason Health's physical security systems. This includes accreditation and certification processes for contracted security guards, management of the access control and facility key systems, issuance of staff and visitor access badges, and oversight of the security video and surveillance systems. The Program Manager ensures compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices, fostering a secure and safe environment across all Mason Health facilities. Additionally, the Program Manager applies project management best practices to lead and execute initiatives that enhance Mason Health's security infrastructure.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Contracted Security Management:
- Oversee compliance, training, and certification requirements for contracted security guards, ensuring readiness and adherence to regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with security contractors to monitor and enhance guard performance.
Access Control, Key Systems, and Surveillance:
- Manage access control systems, including issuing, maintaining, and auditing access badges and physical key systems to ensure secure handling.
- Oversee the operation, maintenance, and optimization of security video and surveillance systems, ensuring effective monitoring and compliance with privacy regulations.
