Robert Half Cyber Security Program Manager in Shelton, Connecticut
Description We are looking for a skilled Cyber Security Program Manager to lead and oversee comprehensive identity and access management initiatives, data classification projects, and other cyber-focused efforts. In this long-term contract role, you will be responsible for guiding projects through their entire lifecycle—from planning and design to implementation and support—while ensuring all objectives are met with precision. This position is based in Shelton, Connecticut, and offers an excellent opportunity to collaborate with vendors, stakeholders, and executive leadership teams.
Responsibilities:
• Supervise and manage multiple cyber security projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
• Develop and present approved project charters to align stakeholders on goals and expectations.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, test implementations, and deploy projects effectively.
• Maintain accurate records of deliverables, approvals, and project documentation.
• Serve as the central communication point between vendors, internal stakeholders, and executive leadership.
• Conduct regular status updates and track project progress against established metrics.
• Identify and address project risks, dependencies, and issues to ensure seamless execution.
• Monitor project budgets, comparing planned versus actual expenditures.
• Ensure alignment with cyber security products and methodologies, including tools such as SailPoint, Okta, and Delinea. Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management with a focus on cyber security.
• Strong expertise in project planning, milestone tracking, risk management, and status reporting.
• Proven ability to lead teams and resolve project-related issues effectively.
• Capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic environment.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to engage with diverse audiences.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Project or similar project management software.
• Familiarity with cyber security tools and technologies such as SailPoint, Okta, and Delinea.
