Maintenance Assistant

Pay Rate:

The pay rate for this job is $22 - $24 / hour*

What you'll be doing as a Maintenance Assistant:

• Maintain lubrication of all equipment complete minor repairs, cleaning, and painting of equipment and facility, keeping things orderly and organized

• Cleanliness in all areas of the facility

• Clean and wipe down machines, presses

• Performs general repairs that do not require a specialized technician. Examples may include repairing dry way, painting, and repairing doors and other building fixtures

• Painting floors, walls, equipment, and guardrails

• Cleans and assists with upkeep of the facilities

• Equipment, maintenance i.e. daily lubrication schedule and minor repairs

• Other duties assigned

Available shifts:

Shift Timings: 1st Shift (Day)

Job requirements:

• Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for employment with PeopleReady

• Able to stoop, bend, reach and lift adhering to all safety procedures

• Able to be a self-motivator working independently

• Able to lift, move, and maneuver power-cleaning equipment up to 50 pounds safely

• Ability to follow instructions from supervisors or senior maintenance workers

• Knowledge of general carpentry and repair

• Ability to use hand tools and power tools

• Excellent organizational and time management skills

• Must know some construction, some electrical, know how to run a forklift and crane

• Background check and drug test required
