Special Education Teacher, Secondary School. Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, Social Science or any related field, plus State Educator License with corresponding endorsement for Special Education. The Special Education Teacher will serve the needs of the district's secondary school students with learning disabilities or behavioral issues; develop and write individualized education plans (IEPs), conduct individualized education meetings; work with classroom teachers to implement modifications and accommodations in the general education classroom; work with the Special Education director; and work with parents of students with disabilities.
