Job Title: Folder Machine Operator Job Description
This position plays a crucial role in assisting the management and maintenance of the overall Finishing Department operations. The role involves coordinating process improvements while maintaining a positive attitude, proper etiquette, and a high level of urgency among department employees. The position supports and prioritizes Safety, Quality, and Production, identifying areas for improvement and providing training and coaching through positive employee involvement and team building.
Responsibilities
Assist in managing and maintaining operations in the Finishing Department.
Coordinate process improvements and maintain a positive work environment.
Provide support in Safety, Quality, and Production priorities.
Identify areas for improvement and offer training and coaching.
Promote positive employee involvement and team building.
Essential Skills
Experience in machine operation and maintenance.
Ability to perform set-ups and changeovers.
Proficiency in troubleshooting and operating folder machines.
Understanding of blueprint reading.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with Domino 110, Visionfold 110, and Cartonpack machines.
Familiarity with HHS gluing system on the four gluers.
Experience with Heiber Schroeder window machines.
