Maintenance Electrician (PLC Heavy, $25/hr+)
Job Description
The ideal candidate must be willing and eager to perform mechanical & electrical maintenance and should have experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Understanding ladder logic and working with motor drives and heavy industrial equipment is essential.
Responsibilities
Perform electrical troubleshooting and repair.
Conduct mechanical maintenance tasks.
Work with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
Understand and utilize ladder logic.
Operate and maintain motor drives and heavy industrial equipment.
Read and interpret schematics and blueprints.

Work Environment
The work environment is a non-climate-controlled manufacturing plant equipped with large machinery such as Level Winds, Breakdown Blocks, a 3000-ton Lowey Extrusion Press, Pilger Mill, Annealers, Air Compressors, Billet Gas Fired Furnace, Induction Coils, chillers, water treatment systems, cooling towers, water pumps, hydraulic pumps, VFDs - AC and DC, and PLC5 systems.
Maintenance Electricians are primarily needed for the 2nd and 3rd shifts. Shift timings are as follows: 1st Shift from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm, 2nd Shift from 3:30 pm to 11:30 pm, and 3rd Shift from 11:00 pm to 7:00 am.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Shawnee, OK.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $33.00/hr.
