Job Description:
Supervises and ensures compliance with policies and procedures involving the daily operations. Ensures new construction and renovations comply with all regulatory agency codes and standards. Reviews code changes and initiates policy programs to maintain compliance. Distributes work assignments and supervises daily activities of personnel. Coordinates with supervisors in other departments to schedule repairs and maintenance. Expedites assignments as directed and supervises personnel with repairs as necessary. Reads architectural blueprints and schematics of building and mechanical systems, equipment, and wiring diagrams. Maintains and updates a complete set of drawings. Reviews work requests and related documentation generated by shop personnel for accuracy and completeness. Initiates preventive maintenance procedures for new equipment and determines frequency of inspection. Orders supplies and repair parts and maintains inventory of supplies. Coordinates with vendors as necessary. Other Duties as assigned Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Must have the ability to direct subordinates, teaching, planning, organizing, staffing, reporting, budgeting and coordinating. [Required]
Education:
• High School Grad or Equiv [Required]
Field of Study:
• High School Grad or Equiv Required
Work Experience:
• 1+ supervisory/lead experience [Required]
• 4+ experience with complex mechanical equipment and systems in a health care environment. [Required]
• Experience must include air conditioning, heating, ventilating, electrical, plumbing, boiler and chiller operations, and the ability to read and interpret blue prints and schematics. [Required]

Pay Range:
$55,370.70 - $102,989.50
