Hours:6:00am-5:30pm\ \ Join a growing team as a Mechanical Assembly Technician where your attention to detail and ability to follow drawings and BOMs will make an immediate impact. Work with precision on small components in a clean, team-oriented environment, with the opportunity to learn new skills and support multiple departments. No soldering experience required. This is an associate to hire opportunity in Shawnee, KS.\ \ Mechanical Assembly Responsibilities include but are not limited to:\ - Assemble mechanical components according to drawings and specifications\ - Read and interpret Bills of Materials (BOMs) and assembly instructions\ - Work with small, detailed parts with a high level of precision\ - Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met\ - Maintain a clean and organized work area\ \ Mechanical Assembly Requirements:\ - High school diploma, GED, or equivalent\ - Experience in electronics manufacturing environments preferred\ - Ability to read, write, and perform basic math at a high school level\ - Ability to stand, walk, sit, talk, and hear for extended periods while performing continuous operations\ - Flexibility to work in other assembly line roles as needed (inspection, testing, packaging, etc.)\ - Familiarity with component polarity and verification of proper solder and component placement\ - Vision abilities required by this job include close and distance vision, depth perception, peripheral vision, and focus adjustment\ - Manual dexterity to work with small components
