UL, LLC IT Senior Business Systems Analyst - RCP Infinity Application Suite in Shatin, Hong Kong
Fulfill the role of Product Owner for the RCP Infinity Application Suite, working directly with identified business partners to document, test and implement business-driven enhancements and change requests.
Under minimal supervision, drives the implementation and maintenance of enterprise-wide business systems. Responsible for instructing, directing, and checking the work of other business systems analysts. Plans and manages small and large projects to assure goals and objectives are met within an arranged time frame. Formulates and defines systems scope based on user needs, a thorough understanding of the business systems, and industry. Ensures solutions meet or exceed customer expectations.
Utilizes industry best practices to drive the implementation of business systems and acts as the SME (subject matter expert) on specific projects.
Interfaces with system support and logs technical assistance requests as needed. Works with system support to resolve questions, problems, and enhancement requests.
Gathers system requirements from business users and creates functional requirement documents. Consults with business and technical teams to define necessary requirements. Works through and contributes to all phases of development through the lifecycle of a project.
Manages large and more important projects. Supports other departments, divisions, and organizations as a liaison to IT.
Contributes to all phases of system development through the analysis of business requirements, business design, business development, client training, data conversion, testing and maintenance.
Prepares charts, diagrams, and recommendations for business solutions while ensuring conformity with other business areas.
Read and follow the Underwriters Laboratories Code of Conduct, and follow all physical and digital security practices.
Performs other duties as described
RCP business process experience and knowledge of the Infinity Application Suite highly desired.
Ability to adapt to defined IT processes and documentation practices, and ability to document business requirements.
University degree in Computer Science or a related discipline plus generally three years of directly related experience is good but not required.
Experience managing and assisting as a lead on teams for IT projects & programs is good but not required.
