Job Title: Assembler
Job Description
The Assembler - Finishing role involves working with sheet metal pieces, typically between 10-15 feet in length, and accurately measuring them into place. Additional tasks include performing small welds to temporarily secure pieces until welders complete the product, buttoning, bolting, and gluing items to the final product, adding components to the enclosure, and touching up paint.
Responsibilities
Measure sheet metal pieces accurately and position them correctly.
Perform small welds to tack sheet metal pieces into place.
Button, bolt, and glue items onto the final product.
Add components to enclosures.
Touch up paint as required.
Essential Skills
Mechanical aptitude.
Ability to accurately read a tape measure.
Experience using hand and power tools.
Ability to read blueprints and shop drawings.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Construction experience, particularly framing, is a plus.
Trade school or certifications in welding or construction are preferred.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $23.00/hr.
